Hobgoblin Legendary Ruby Beer

Country - England

Percentage - 5.2%

Brewing Company - Wychwood Brewery

When poured this is a brown amber beer with an off-white head that dissipates leaving a cap. There is an aroma of malt associated with hints of spice and balsamic vinegar. On tasting, the beer has a medium body coupled with medium carbonation on the palate. There is a malt flavour but the supposed chocolate is absent whilst the fruity characters are well hidden.  Perhaps if we were goblins forced to live in caves and drink stale water this beer might be appealing but this ain't the case. Overall, an un-impressive bland beer with some bitterness at the end, Stay away from this Hobgoblin!

Verdict - OK
