Mildura Murray Honey Wheat

Country - Victoria, Australia

Percentage - 4.5%

Brewing Company - Mildura Brewery

When poured this is a hazy golden colour beer with a white head that dissipates quickly. Interestingly Maca's beer presents quite differently as his beer is a clear golden colour beer with excellent effervescence and superior head retention. Further research found that other consumers of the product found this beer under carbonated with practically no head retention. Maca and myself found very little aroma with this beer and the supposed "fruity bouquet" is non existent. On tasting this is a sweet ale but the honey is non distinct and the wheat is too little to mention. Overall this is a light sweet tasting beer that is not overly complex and does not perform as well as the familiar Beez Neez. Mildura Brewing produce a good range of beer with namely the Stefano's Pilsner being a superior craft beer.

Verdict - Good
