Brass Belgium Pilsener

Country - Bocholt, Belgium

Percentage - 4.7%

Brewing Company - Brass Beer Company

This beer was voted the most favourite beer at the "Taste of the World Beer Fest 2012" Whilst an enjoyable beer we do have to disagree with this verdict as the "Mad Brewers Hoppy Hefe" was also provided at the festival.
When poured from the plastic bottle this is a light coloured beer with a white head containing a decent pilsener nose. On tasting the beer has a good carbonation with some sweetness followed by modest bitterness. An easy drinking beer for those hot summer days. The beer overall performs quite well and it is evident why the masses preferred this to many other beers. For us though we cannot escape the idea that this would have been a better beer if manufactured in a glass bottle.
One good point to make about the plastic bottle beer is that it does make it ideal for drinking around a pool area, but unfortunately when opening one of these beers there is NO joy to be had, no triumph in getting the cap off. An un-Australian beer!

Verdict - Great
