Grolsch Premium Lager

Country - Holland

Percentage - 5.0%

Brewing companyKoninklijke Grolsch N.V

Grolsch was founded in 1615 and is the 21st largest provider of beer in the world. It is well known for its distinctive shaped bottle and swing top cap, known as the 'Beugal' or the 'Brace.' Bottles of this type use a swing top, eliminating the need for an opener (fucking great idea). The top used to be made from porcelain and is still in circulation in the Netherlands.
Grolsch lager is made from two types of hops which have been incorporated into the logo and is considered to be one of the finest beers to land on the Australian shores.
When poured this is a pale straw coloured beer with light carbonation and a decent white head. A pleasant uncomplicated aroma is present. This is a premium lager that is crisp and refreshing, with a slightly dry and bitter finish. Corky states ' This is persistently good quaffing piss' that is perfect for that special occasion, as it is a true palate cleanser.

Verdict - Perfect
